Bengaluru, India | August 11, 2026 — Ayati Devices, a Bengaluru-based medical technology and device manufacturing company focused on diagnostic solutions for diabetic foot complications and peripheral vascular disease, has raised INR 15 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflexor Ventures.
The investment represents Ayati Devices’ first institutional funding and will support the commercialization of its diagnostic technologies, expansion across domestic and international markets, manufacturing and supply-chain development, research and development, regulatory approvals, artificial intelligence capabilities, and the recruitment of engineering, clinical, and global business teams.
Ayati Devices was incubated at IIT Bombay’s Society for Innovation and Technology Transfer (IITB-SINE) as part of the institute’s translational research program.
Addressing an Underdiagnosed Healthcare Challenge
The funding comes as diabetes and its associated complications continue to create a significant healthcare burden in India and globally. More than 90 million people in India are estimated to live with diabetes, while diabetic foot complications can develop when nerve damage and impaired blood circulation remain undetected.
Ayati Devices was founded by Nishant Kathpal with a focus on making advanced diagnostic technologies portable, affordable, and accessible beyond tertiary hospitals. Its solutions are designed to support earlier identification of diabetic neuropathy, peripheral artery disease and tissue-perfusion abnormalities across hospitals, primary care facilities and community screening programs.
The company’s portfolio covers multiple stages of the diabetic foot diagnostic pathway. Vibrasense provides clinician-independent neuropathy screening in under five minutes, while Vibrasense+T is designed to assess both large- and small-fibre nerve function.
Vasosense enables peripheral artery disease screening in approximately two minutes without requiring a specialist, while Angiocam provides real-time tissue-perfusion imaging through a portable system. The portfolio also includes the PODIA Trolley, a pay-per-test screening model designed to enable healthcare providers to conduct screening without significant upfront capital expenditure.
Expanding Global Commercialization
Ayati Devices’ products have received regulatory clearances across several markets, including CDSCO in India, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), CE Mark certification in Europe, and approvals in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and the UAE.
The company has deployed more than 10,000 devices across over 30 countries, supported by an international distributor network and clinical deployments at institutions including Medicover Hospital and Aster Hospital.
The company estimates its addressable market at approximately US$15 billion globally and US$1.4 billion in India, spanning diabetic neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease, and tissue-perfusion imaging.
Beyond diabetic diagnostics, Ayati’s underlying technology has potential applications in areas including plastic surgery, wound care, burn management, cardiovascular diagnostics, and reconstructive medicine.
Investment to Support Product and Market Expansion
The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate the commercialization of Angiocam, expand Ayati’s go-to-market operations in India and international markets, strengthen manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities, and advance research in AI-enabled diagnostics.
The company also plans to invest in additional regulatory approvals, intellectual property development, and the expansion of its engineering, clinical, regulatory and international business development teams.
Ayati intends to deepen its presence across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and Latin America through its distributor network. It is also evaluating direct commercial operations in selected markets as demand develops.
The company plans to expand its pay-per-test screening model across hospitals, primary care clinics and community healthcare programs to increase access to preventive diagnostic services.
“Diabetic foot remains one of the most overlooked healthcare challenges, despite being largely preventable with timely screening. At Ayati, we have focused on building technologies that make advanced diagnostics objective, affordable, and accessible beyond tertiary hospitals — right from primary care clinics to community screening programs. This investment marks an important milestone in our journey. It will accelerate our product roadmap, strengthen our global presence, and help us reach millions of patients before complications become irreversible. We are grateful to all our investors for believing in our vision of transforming diabetic foot care worldwide,” said Nishant Kathpal, Founder & CEO, Ayati Devices.
Inflexor Backs Medical Device Platform
For Inflexor Ventures, the investment reflects the opportunity to support an Indian medical-device company combining proprietary hardware, software and clinical applications with an expanding international footprint.
“India’s medical devices sector, driven by innovation and government incentives, is rapidly expanding along with a strong structural tailwind towards localised technology and manufacturing. Ayati is a platform play in the medical devices sector and exactly the kind of company Inflexor exists to back: a founder with deep technical conviction, a product built from genuine clinical insight, and a platform that is already demonstrating adoption across both domestic and international markets,” said Pratip Mazumdar, Partner, Inflexor Ventures.
“The scale of the opportunity is as large as the unmet need. Ayati’s multi-product platform, proprietary hardware-software integration, and growing IP portfolio give it the moat to become the global standard of care in non-invasive vascular and neurological diagnostics,” he added.
The funding marks Ayati Devices’ transition from technology validation towards accelerated commercialization. With regulatory clearances across multiple markets, an established international distribution network and deployments across more than 30 countries, the company plans to scale its diagnostic platform while continuing to focus on earlier detection and intervention for diabetic foot complications.
