Dr. Franki Lee’s life is focuses on persistence, adaptability, and continuous enthusiasm for learning. He began his career in quality assurance and consulting and gained experience working in many different fields such as electronics, toys, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. All these different experiences gave him a solid understanding of extensive testing and safety procedures from which he was able to expand his knowledge in food safety. Since 2018, having served as the Director of Business Development and Compliance at STC, Dr. Lee has overseen the initiative to grow its global reputation as a food safety testing company. His approach of managing the launch of new technology, such as DNA microbial analysis and accelerated test methods, is in line with STC’s commitment to precision and innovation within food safety.
STC supplements its lab with collaborations from regulatory organizations, industry associations, and universities to make a valuable contribution to worldwide food safety regulations. “Collaboration enables us to combine our skills and create solutions for the food industry,” Dr. Lee explains. STC is currently accredited by the U.S. FDA’s Laboratory Accreditation for Analyses of Foods (LAAF) Program, which speaks volumes for its commitment to excellence.
